Counting down the days...

Welcome Drinks

Join us the night before the big day for drinks and to meet everyone! And, if you're feeling adventurous, you can explore Palermo’s vibrant nightlife afterwards. Just be sure to save some dancing energy—we’re planning to go late for the wedding party! Check back later for the confirmed location and time.

Friday, February 27th
Palermo, Buenos Aires
Smart-Casual Attire

Wedding Day

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, followed by cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Shuttles from the city center will aim to arrive by 4:00pm. If you’re arranging your own ride, aim for the same to allow time for traffic and getting settled.

Saturday February 28th, 4:00 pm
Estancia Santa Elena, Lujan, Buenos Aires
Formal summer attire (garden party)

What is the dress code?

Formal summer garden party. Long dresses are ideal, as are suits & ties! Ladies should note that we will be spending time in the garden, so please choose your footwear accordingly. Think bright colors, prints, and fluffy sleeves—don't be shy! We're sure you already have something that will work great, so please don't feel pressured to buy anything to accommodate the dress code.

What will the weather be like?

February is late summer in Argentina (think August in the northern hemisphere), and it tends to be hot during the day, with cooler temperatures in the evening. We will spend most of the time outside on Saturday, so be sure to bring sunglasses and a light layer if you tend to get cold in the evening. Average temperatures for this area: High of 84F / 29C, Low of 72F / 22C

How should I get to the venue?

Since Estancia Santa Elena is a bit outside the city, we will be providing transportation to and from the venue. Shuttles will depart from a central pick-up point (TBD) and return to the same location. We will offer two different return times for those who prefer to head back earlier.

For those who prefer to arrange their own transportation, we recommend booking a private ride in advance, as Uber is not very frequent in the area. We'll update this FAQ with suggested private transport options a few months ahead of time.

Note: Make sure to confirm in your RSVP if you want us to include you on the shuttle list. And if your plans change, let us know!

Can I bring my kids?

We love being auntie and uncle to the little ones, but we’ve chosen to have a child-free wedding, with the exception of specifically-invited children from immediate family and close friends. We appreciate your understanding!

What time does the wedding start and end on Saturday?

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm, so please make sure to be seated by 4:15pm to avoid any delays. Shuttles will aim to arrive by 4:00pm to give you time to settle in.

We're planning to party until 12:30am! For those who wish to leave sooner, a shuttle will be departing earlier (but be warned, you may be scolded by las abuelas).

What type of food will be served?

We’re excited to offer a selection of Argentina’s favorites, served formally at your tables. During the reception, we'll also have a variety of starters and nibbles to suit all tastes, and of course, a few bites straight from the wood-fired parilla!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, we will have an open bar with a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine available throughout the celebration. Please keep this in mind if you're considering driving to the venue.

Where should I stay?

Although the venue is about an hour outside Buenos Aires, we recommend staying in the city for the best experience and full access to everything BA has to offer. Plus, the welcome drinks the night before the wedding will be in the city center, so you'll be closer to it!

Below, you'll find a list of suggested hotels and accommodations.

Flights to Buenos Aires

US to Buenos Aires

There are direct flights from major hubs in the U.S. to Buenos Aires, including MIA, JFK, DFW, ATL, IAH, and ORD.
Alternatively, the most convenient layovers are in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Lima, or Santiago de Chile.

Note: Our international airport is EZE, but some regional connecting flights may arrive at our city airport, AEP. Either works great, but AEP is a bit more convenient (and a cheaper Uber!) if you're staying in the city center or neighborhoods like Palermo, Recoleta, or Belgrano.

UK to Buenos Aires

There are no direct flights from London to Buenos Aires; however, you can find easy connections via Paris, Madrid, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro.

Where to Stay

Casa Sur Hotel

With two locations, one in the heart of Palermo and the other in Recoleta, this boutique hotel offers easy access to all key attractions and nightlife.

Casa Lucia

Located in the heart of Recoleta, just a few minutes away from key attractions like the Obelisque and Colon Theatre.

Legado Mitico Buenos Aires

If you're looking for a luxury boutique hotel in Buenos Aires, Legado Mítico Buenos Aires is the perfect choice. Located in the heart of Palermo Soho, the city's trendiest neighborhood.

Airbnb Las Cañitas

If you’re traveling with a group, a traditional house like this one in Las Cañitas is a great option. There are plenty of Airbnbs available in this area—we personally love staying in Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood, or Las Cañitas, which is our personal favorite. It’s close to AEP airport, surrounded by parks, and perfectly situated between Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. If Airbnb is your style, you’ll have lots to choose from here.

Airbnb Palermo Soho

Here’s another example of a 3-bedroom home right in the heart of lively Palermo Soho. If you want to be within walking distance of some of the city’s best nightlife and restaurants, Palermo is a fantastic choice. Both the Soho and Hollywood sides are packed with trendy cafés, renowned restaurants and parrillas, wine bars, breweries, and vibrant nightlife.

Transportation in the city

Uber or Cabify

You can rent a car, but considering the traffic and parking in the city our advice is to use Uber or Cabify (similar app to Uber) for the days you are in Buenos Aires.

Note: Ubers/Cabify tend to be cheaper than taxis and accept both credit card or cash. If you are 4 people or have luggage, book a plus sized car or you might find yourself in a tight squeeze in the most popular standard car models used by drivers...

Public Transport

Riding our well-known colectivos (public buses) is part of the true Argentine experience. Our buses and subway system work really well if you are staying in the city center. To use them, you'll need to pick up a SUBE card, as they don’t accept credit cards or cash. SUBE cards can be purchased online or in many corner shops, transit stations, and street kiosks.
